Junior 1 - Sudoeste Branch - Teacher Ivna
Dear parents,
Our Junior 1 group worked on a very fun project this semester to practice what we had studied. Students learned how to ask questions using What is/are + relative pronouns (this/that/these/those) and answer using It’s/They're throughout units 1 and 3. Being so, they were able to create a dialogue producing this target language in addition to other elements such as greetings (Unit 0) and animals (unit 3). There were parameters for students to follow, but there was room for creativity as well. They were able to choose their characters and the animals featuring the scene; some of which were extra vocabulary. They did a great job!

Nosso grupo de Junior 1 trabalhou em um projeto muito divertido esse semestre para praticar o que nós estudamos. Os alunos aprenderam a fazer perguntas usando What is/are this/that/these/those e a respondê-las com It’s/They’re durante as unidades 1 e 3. Assim sendo, eles conseguiram criar um dialogo com esse conteúdo acrescentando outros elementos como cumprimentos (unidade 0) e animais (unidade 3). Os alunos precisaram seguir alguns parâmetros, mas eles também tiveram espaço para criatividade. Eles puderam escolher seus personagens e os animais que apareceriam; alguns deles são vocabulário extra. Eles fizeram um ótimo trabalho!
